This is the first song I ever recorded as Real Movement. I had recently fallen in love with house music and I wanted to make my own house/funk song that ended up being very much inspired by shoegaze bands, specifically The Big Pink. The drums were sounds of me banging things around my house, except for the bass drum, which is actually me tapping my finger on a pillow over the built-in mic on my MacBook Pro.

The goal of Real Movement is to give my songwriting a framework that will can evolve and grow as I do the same as a human being. I always think that the defining characteristic of life is movement, the less you move, the less alive you are. So this is meant to be a celebration of trying new things and exploring new ideas.
